Meet the Founder
Taylor is more than a real estate advisor—he’s a connector, strategist, and lifelong New Yorker at heart.
After stints as a private banking and management consulting executive, he founded Birch Mountain Ventures in 2020 to help visionary founders turn big ideas into meaningful impact, including his own.
But for Taylor, New York has always been more than a city. It's a launchpad—for ideas, for change, and for people seeking something deeper than just a new address. That belief drives everything he does at Live NYC: helping people not just find homes, but build belonging.
Taylor’s influence goes beyond real estate. He’s led sustainability campaigns like SUPR, an environmental initiative that launched at the Super Bowl, is a NASM-certified personal trainer and movement specialist, advises nonprofits like FEAST, and supports young global entrepreneurs through the Resolution Project and the U.S. State Department.
Whether he’s speaking at the UN or surfing in a far-flung corner of the world, Taylor brings heart, clarity, and vision to every community he touches. And at the end of the day, he’s always drawn back to one place—New York City.
He has called Greenwich Village home for over a decade, sits on his co-op board and proudly supports the Hudson River Park Trust, home to his favorite slice of the city.
When he’s not in the city, he can be found at his home in Upstate NY or exploring a new corner of the world.
